What does it mean to “Always make NEW mistakes”? That’s what I wondered when I saw this quote on a billboard.
It sounds like a paradox, right? Aren’t mistakes bad? Well, not necessarily.
Mistakes are inevitable, but they are also valuable. They show us where we can improve, what we can learn, and how we can grow. But only if we make NEW mistakes. Repeating the same mistakes means we are not paying attention, not learning from feedback, and not changing our behavior.
That’s why #salesleaders should embrace mistakes as opportunities, not failures. We should not aim for perfection, but for progress. We should not waste time on polishing every detail, but on delivering value. And we should not dwell on what went wrong, but on what we can do better next time.
So go ahead and make mistakes. Just make sure they are NEW. And learn from them. That’s how you become a better #salesleader. 💯
